The X3000 is a relatively low priced car camera with two channels, one forward facing and the other inward towards the driver and passenger. This model is ideal for driving instructors who may wish to record their student at the same time as they record the road through the windscreen. The camera is supplied with an external GPS antenna and can be used with or without this in place. When in use, the location and speed of the vehicle are recorded along with the video for viewing later.
Built into the main unit itself are sensitive G-Sensors which detect and record data pertaining to the motion of the vehicle in terms of sudden acceleration, sharp cornering and hard braking. Such events are stored on the cameras memory and displayed during the playback of the video using the supplied proprietry software.
The screen on the back of the camera (which faces into the vehicle) shows the view from both lenses at the same time. This is an exceptionally useful facility for positioning the camera to acheive the ideal viewing on both lenses at the same time.
